Bad Company

Former Leader Singer Brian Howe
Performing Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

Long regarded as one of rock's legendary voices, Brian Howe started his career in 1983 as lead vocalist for Ted Nugent, recording Nugent's "Penetrator" album and fronting it's subsequent world tour.

In 1984, the 2 existing members of Bad Company - drummer Simon Kirke, and guitarist Mick Ralphs courted Brian to replace Paul Rodgers as the lead singer. Brian decided to accept the offer and continue the legend of Bad Company. This was not an easy task, but along with Kirke and Ralphs, Brian created, wrote, recorded and toured FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS, headlining every major venue around the globe.

Along with Bad Company's highly acclaimed 1993 live CD "What You Hear Is What You Get - The Best of Bad Company - Live" Brian wrote and sold 19 million additional albums highlighted by such radio and video hits as "Holy Water'" "If You Needed Somebody," "No Smoke Without A Fire," and "How About That," - not to mention a few of the group's previous hits as recorded on the "live" CD.

Millions of records later, Brian is back and ready to unleash his awesome vocals upon his audiences and fans performing all of Bad Company's hit songs including such classics as "Can't Get Enough," "Bad Company," "Holy Water," "Ready For Love," and many other Bad Co. hits.

His sellout performances in venues around the world is an event you must see and hear - because "What You Hear Is What You Get - The Best Of Bad Company - Live!"

Mark Wills
Performing Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

Mark Wills, the multi-platinum selling country star, is back again with newfound passion, energy, joy and abandon for his career.

Born in 1973, Daryl Mark Williams was raised in Blue Ridge, GA. As a boy, he was a fan of country stars like Alabama and Ronnie Milsap, as well as some of the hard-rock acts of the day such as Poison, Bon Jovi and Motley Crue. After winning a local talent contest at age 17, Mark announced to his parents that he was moving to the big city of Atlanta to follow his dream.

Mark has scored 8 top 10 hits and has made a name for himself as the gifted interpreter of such tender sentiments as “Wish You Were Here” and “Don’t Laugh At Me.” The Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist of 1999 has also carved out a niche for himself by creating his own adaptation of such R&B love songs as “Back At One” and “Almost Doesn’t Count.” His hit-packed catalog includes the ballads “Places I’ve Never Been,” “I Do (Cherish You)” and “She’s In Love.”

Mark Wills found both personal and professional success in Georgia’s capital city. He adopted his stage name because there was another country singer named “Williams” in Atlanta. Then he became the “house” entertainer for five years at the famed Buckboard nightclub, where he met his wife Kelly. They married in 1996, which was the same year that the upbeat “Jacob’s Ladder” jump-started his country career. That single was followed by a string of Top 10 smashes. His 1998 album Wish You Were Here went Platinum and Permanently (2000) then went Gold.

Jakson County
Performing Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

Once in awhile something special comes along in music, maybe not a complete re-invention but a new take on a classic genre. Jakson County definitely raises the bar on big riffing, high octane, monster melodic, Southern Rock Music. Think The Allman Brothers for a new generation!  Jakson “Thunderfoot” Spires, legendary drummer for the southern rock band “Blackfoot”, left a lasting impression on the people who knew him well. Upon his untimely passing in March of 2005, a group of his friends united to continue a shared vision.

Jakson County members, Richie DiStefano (drums/vocals); Dave Adams (lead vocals); Chris Smith (guitars); Jim Kinler (bass/vocals); and Dan Merchant (guitars/vocals) combine their histories to produce an impressive resume, having appeared with such notable national headliners as Blackfoot, 38 Special, Brooks & Dunn, Molly Hatchet, Diamond Rio, The Marshall Tucker Band and more. Together, they present a southern rock-n-roll, funky, bluesy sound that is in your face, inventive, energetic, and vocally harmonic.

If you like your music to grab you and sling you about in a heavenly way, then DO NOT MISS this performance by Jakson County!!!
